Ethics on the Front Line

This class is for all staff who work with other human beings on the front lines of our healthcare system everyday who are faced with difficult decisions and hard conversations with clients, patients and families. This experience will help you to understand what ethics are, the history, what the code of ethics outlines and most importantly what does it look like on the front line and how to navigate these sticky situations.  

In this session you will:

• Identify what part of the situations we confront everyday require us to pause and have an ethical conversations with ourselves.

• Discover how our values play a part in the support we provide and the stories we tell ourselves about the people we are helping.

• Gain the understanding and tools needed to rethink situations so we can support in a way that empowers our clients to make the decisions that are right for them, not what is right for us.
