Service Description

Understanding ourselves enhances our ability to see, hear, and connect with others. Join us to delve into your own human experiences, that will equip you with the insight and skills needed to navigate challenging situations for yourself and others. Gain valuable insights into the human experience of patients, caregivers, family members, and individuals living with Dementia. In this session you will: Understand the Human Experience: Explore how our personalities influence our interactions and relationships. Communication Strategies: Learn to converse in a manner that avoids blame, shame, or punishment. Shift from Contempt to Curiosity: Transform your perspective and approach challenges with a fresh lens and more human friendly outcomes. How do people living with Dementia experience the world around them and how can we work with what they have left, instead of fighting what they have left. Clinton Frontline Training Location: Clinton Memorial Building Date: April 3rd, 2024 Sessions: 9 AM - 1 PM / 3 PM - 7 PM Graceville Frontline Training Location: Graceville Community Building, 415 Studdart Ave, Graceville, MN 56240 Date: April 17th, 2024 Sessions: 8 AM - 12 PM / 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM A third set of training will be held in May in Ortonville, date to be determined.
